I decided to go ahead and make another music page, this time focusing on Doo-wop music from the 1950s. I tried to find some original vid clips from the period and ended up with ten clips on this Doo-wop Music lens.

Night Court

I just posted a new page, the first one on quite a while...Night Court. This show was quite popular back in its day, and had a nine-year run on NBC.

Benny Hill

My two Benny Hill related lenses are; The Benny Hill Show and a biography on Hill called The Benny Hill Bio. The former is probably my highest rated page on an average basis, and the latter being more middle of the pack.

Islands

Two island lenses of note are; The Pitcairn Islands of Mutiny on the Bounty lore and The Wallis and Futuna Islands.

Yachts

Two solid performers in the yacht category are; Worlds Largest Yacht Eclipse and Tiger Wood's Yacht: Privacy. These two lenses have been in the 20,000 lensrank area for a long time. Happy Labor Day everyone.

Italy

A couple of lenses that relate to Italy on my list of assemble pages are; The Leaning Tower of Pisa and (from achient Rome) The Roman Colosseum. The Colosseum page was a second tier lens, before dropping back to the third tier with the Tower lens.

Concert for George

One of my best performing lenses is a page about 2002's Concert for George. It has been a solid tier two lens for well over a year now.

Paricutin Volcano

It often seems that most of my lenses do better when school is in session. A good example of this is my Paricutin Volcano page. It seems to have had a ramp up in views lately, and I hope it can get back up into the second tier for September.

Zoo Coupons

I have decided to take a crack at a coupon lens with Zoo Coupons and Zoo Discounts. Some coupon lenses do well, so we shall see.

New Stats Page

The new traffic stats system upgrade went into effect today at Squidoo. Great new charts and graphics, with live traffic stats as well. Nice job by Gil and the team at HQ!

Horseshoe Sandwich

Still plugging away at the recipe thing with some mixed results thus far. My oldest recipe page is about the Horseshoe Sandwich. I made that one about a year ago after watching an episode of Man vs. Food, when Adam visited Illinois where the sandwich was born. That lens has been in my top 10% or so of all my pages, which rates out as my top recipe lens thus far.

Emma Roberts

From what I have been reading Emma Roberts is rumoured to be the leading candidate to portray Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 4. The film is not expected to be released until 2012, but I am hoping the news will help with my Emma Roberts lens that I completed about a month back. We shall see!

Page Break Module

The "Page Break" module is a relatively new tool for Squidoo lenses. If you are not with the page break, it simply allows the lensmaster to 'break one ling webpage into several shorter pages. I have three lenses that I have used this feature: Jane Leeves, Five Recent Comets, and Mysteries in History.

First Blog Ever

After 2-plus years and 140-plus lenses on Squidoo I guess it's time to start a blog about my work. Recently I have been trying my hand at recipe lenses and attempting to do some keyword research at the same time. I'm hoping that my two recent efforts: Persimmon Recipes and Pear Dessert Recipes will prove to be "fruitful".
